SCAM - automated call claiming that 'Due to unauthorised use, your internet will be disconnected' and to hold on the line to speak to a call handler. Caller with Indian accent claimed to be from 'Cyber Security Dept' that deals with security issues for all the service providers including BT. Starts by asking me if I have given my password to anyone and what devices I currently have connected. After giving her some bogus answers, I put her on hold and disconnected the call after 5mins. Definitely SCAM!

Fraud: Pretends to be from HSBC Bank sending a text that someone has been authorised to receive a payment from your account. However HSBC Bank (if you have an account with them) don't give out their numbers when they call or text their customers. Also HSBC don't use this form of security check ( text warnings to set up a new payment from your a/c). The objective is probably to defraud you of your money by gaining access to your bank account - or to use the link in the message to instigate a virus infection.

I have received numerous calls from this company - three this week. Sick to death of it. Repeated calls like this can only be regarded as harassment.
