They verified my details, knew my name and every handset/plan I already had, and after a brief chat, concluded that I didnt need anything. I get these kind of calls 1-2 a year. They are a telesales company likely working with EE. There is a lot of negative comments, but this is the way the capitalist world you live in works. Accept you will get these calls, people trying to sell your something.

Keep getting calls from them, usually while driving home. No-one there when I do manage to answer. Makes sense if it is Laithwaites as used to order from them.

Called several times before I answered, whoever was on the other end of the line was very rude, would not tell me who they were and hung up on me when I asked how they got this number

Non stop calls since last Wednesday, sometimes three times a day. I don?t know anyone from Scotland and I?m not signed up to any sort of company in Scotland. I very rarely give out my number to people who aren?t family, so I?m very confused as to how the ?company? has my information. It?s definitely a dodgey number by all accounts.

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... I was called by 01131132840 today 15/12/14, Indian sounding lady, telling me she has been tracking my use an can see my Computer has various problems, virus etc and that she can help me, usual rubbish. knowing that she was going to try and access my PC to either download virus or steal my personal info I asked her sarcasticaly do u need to remotely access my computer?!
