this keeps calling but i don't answer and it goes to answerphone
Do not agree to being the person they ask for. Say you are not at home and ask if you can take a message. I am sure it is a scam as they cannot even pronounce my name properly.
This number calls me daily claiming to be bank security an automated voice tells me I have made a purchase from Amazon for £300 and a money transfer for over £1000 which I know isn't true as I don't have that amount in my account so I believe it to be a scam

This number rang my landline on both 18 and 19 August. Just rang long enough to get me near the phone, but not long enough to pick up - annoying. When I rang the number (from a safe untraceable mobile) I got the recorded message 'Number not in service' ! At best it's spam - at worst it's fraud, so I'll class it as a scam.

This number called at 12.55 p.m. 22.1.2014 - didn t answer but did 1471 afterwards. I don t know anybody with an Ammerdale code. I am in TPS but it makes no difference. There needs to be a central data-base and legislation to prosecute these nuisance callers and scammers.
