Called us 3 times to sell iPhone 14 pro max plus 256 gb for £35 a month with unlimited minutes, and texts + 1000 International minutes and free roaming abroad. It seemed to be fishy as £35 x 24 months= £840 while the same phone on its own from pc world currents on its own is £1250 - they say they are phoning from pc world currys -and the email they sent seemed flawed. They wanted us to pay about £39 delivery and our bank details for direct debit - but seemed dodgy so just ended the call.
Fraud. Claims to be HMRC and I will be arrested unless I press 1. No doubt if I did, I would end up being targeted by other scammers. I'll take my chances thanks, as I've already completed my tax return and paid the little bit of tax I owe. Voice is automated.
Scam. Rang back and a message said this number does not exist.
