Received a call offering an advanced telephone preference service. Supposedly this service was free but the caller wanted the expiry date on my bank card as it was unique . I refused and tried to ask how a date could be unique? They kept saying it was for reference only and did not having anything to do with personal data. Eventually they hung up.
Indian accent, long time delay, said he was from BT and my hub was not working properly.

I was called at 11:42 on 27/06/2016. The lady Sandra called to ask about my recent road traffic accident. I have not had one. Ever! I asked her to remove my details from her database for which she told me there would be a 30p charge and she d send it to my home address. Not only do they have my telephone number but my home address too! I asked to speak with a manager to query the fee and she said I could speak to her manager Jonathan .
