Silent call, I received a call from 01480458857 on 12/08/22. I answered but no one replied, ignorant people!
pretended they were from amazon asking about my account renewing and money being taken from my bank
Telemarketing "Danny" from Webserve UK (???), can't find this company online, offering computer virus protection. Sounded Indian. Said no thanks, they tried to worry me with facts about hackers, phone went down and blocked.
SCAMThis number Just called me saying they were from a housing department and do I have any problems like damp, mould etc, I asked what housing department they were from, and they said an independent one, so I asked them what has my problems got to do with them, they then said they would fix everything for free, I laughed and asked them to tell me who my housing department was, and then asked her why would they just call me up randomly to offer to fix everything for free, she then hung up, this is definitel
I have got no idea who this is...I am in the Netherlands and every day I am receiving AT LEAST 5 calls from different UK/London numbers including this one, all from the above location Carter Lane Gardens. I dont answer and when I did try to call one of the numbers back I got a recorded message telling me the number wasnt in use. Getting seriously fed up with it.
Fraud
Scam and/or phishing attempt. It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.
Norton renewal scam. Beware!
Missed call. Unknown number. Didn't answer it. Doesn't come up as anyone's official number when searched for.
This number 01133100118 which shows as Leeds rang me & offered to beat my network provider by 30% without knowing who i was with, 5 minutes later the same man (john) rang me again with the same offer, this time the number 01143560006 came up as Sheffield. Leeds to Sheffield in less than 5 minutes is pretty fast so i think these numbers are being spoofed from a computer.
Steve called from 01905 570960 claiming to be from EON Next and my gas contract is up for renewal When I explained that EON send our renewal letters and have never called this business once Steve tried to talk over me to convince me that he was our current supplier Its about time the telecom Companies are held accountable when a SCAM company uses its network
