Said they were calling to offer free inspection of loft insulation because the Government has designated some of the old stuff as "irritant". I asked who they represent and she said they work with a number of companies. I asked what her organisation was and she told me she'd get a manager to ring back in the next half hour. SCAM its a voice recording saying its bank security accusing you of paying £700 but don't have the funds in your account to pay it
Rang me on my mobile. I didn't recognise the number and did not answer. The caller did not leave a message. I have no dealings with anyone - personal or corporate in the Shetland Islands.
There was a recorded announcement of two misuses of my credit card (one of them Tesco). No mention of who was calling. A recorded announcement asked me to "press 2 and hold" to speak to customer service. A male voice with a strong foreign accent then asked me for my personal details. When asked what bank he was from the phone went dead.
