A call with an automated message about a case being filed against me by HMRC. I have barred the tel. no. (01618 506868) as a scam. Be aware that if you call back, someone might answer as if HMRC. The foreign gent sounded unsure of himself when I queried his being with HMRC, so I laughed and said "I don t think so!"and hung up.

Called our company & said they were calling from a company called Card Saver & asked if we had any need for a card machine. Told him no that we didn't have any need for one & hung up but finding it strange that we've had 3 calls in the last 20 mins off 0203 numbers which flash up as +441253.... numbers when the dial through about card machines & energy contracts. Clearly this is a nuisance and most certainly is unsolicited. Whilst the number appears to be a Manchester number clearly it is not. An elderly family member had a call from this number and in no way could understand the Asian caller. It is probably a fake number. When they ask if I have been in an accident recently my usual answer is to say "You tell me you seem to know". To the contributor who asked what 00 means in front of the number it is simply the first 2 digits you would dial when calling
