Number actually shows as 0019798234079 on caller ID but this site seems to drop the 00. This is a Windows security scam where they tell you that you have viruses on your PC and they can fix them for you. Didn t go along with it today and said to them that I suppose they were going to show me errors and warnings in my Windows event logs and they just hung up without any further comment. Hopefully they will remove me from their database if they realise I m too Windows savvy to ever fall for this.

This number belongs to Thus Plc,part of the Cable and Wireless worldwide family. And its a survey initiative for broadband, telesales so on and so forth.

This number calls on average once a day - to a business number. I press 9 as instructed to remove from database but nothing happens. As Robbiefan says if you press 5 to speak to someone they just put the phone down on you when they realise there is nothing in it for them.

Can only assume it's a scam, as I don't know or have any contact with anyone from Liverpool. Beware of answering, and if you do, check your phone bill. I have a sneaki...

I have an aqua card but currently owe no debt. They call my landline and mobile from an automated line at the same time (like they re trying to catch me unawares or something) catch me doing what? Not owing them anything? Block the number if you can!!!

More calls today from numerous unknown numbers. Added this one to my blocked list. Extremely annoying!

Called one of our TPS registered lines, a moment or two after we had just got rid of an identical caller calling from 02081333432. They were again asking for the same person, who s name they appeared to have scraped from our website. Told that we wanted them to remove us from their call lists and stop calling us. I skyped back a couple of times to try to hear the company name with which they introduce themselves. They change it each time but it includes the phrase "computer security" after a garbled name. They no longer answer - just call centre sounds in the background. I don t think they like to receive repetetive silent calls. Isn t that sad?

THis number has been calling my mobile, when I answered today they said they were calling about a competition I had entered and wanted to check the details I had put on the entry form were correct. I suggested that if I had filled in an entry form myself then they would be!! However they started to read them out and had several things wrong, including title, first name, and marital status. I told them that if I didn t recall entering and hung up.

I had this number ring yet again tonight, Asian man said he was calling from .....solutions, I threw phone down and left it connected for 20 mins... last week same number rand and man said he was phoning from bt to say my internet was abt to be cut off....I said funny im not wth bt and said it was a scam and hung up

Repeated calls and emails after I made an online enquiry but I ve told them to stop, I m not interested. The unsubscribe link doesn t work on email and they won t stop calling. Several times a week and no way to stop them!

This is a Royal mail Scam

Since no message was left on my answerphone machine, I must assume that this was not a valid call. They called three times today according to my caller display.
