Called place of business at 1pm 16th May 2023 didnt say anything when I answered Just silence so hung up

Fraud called telling me that somebody in the USA has just spent £600 on my debit card and to stop payment they needed my sort number for my account when I said I will contact my bank myself they hung up.

Trying to tempt me under differing guises either offering loyalty points or entering me in competitions . Most say from Curry’s but now they are piggy backing e mail contacts of mine masquerading as them and trying to get me to click on links of photos they sent. They get around the block facility. SCAM - the caller called my private mobile number and asked for someone else. When I responded that I did not know the person asked for, the caller wanted me to give my name, address, date of birth, marriage status so that he could "verify that I was not the person he was demanding to speak to". When I refused he bEcame very aggressive and stated that this was a legal requirement and I could be prosecuted. FRAUDULENT SCAMMER - AVOID THIS CALLER

The person kept going on about our problem with Sky which we do not have. Wife kept saying we do not have Sky in the end she had to hang up. NOT TO BE TRUSTED!

Asking for bank details and for you to contact fraud department as someone trying to get money from your account….not possible to ring them back…scam.

This is my house telephone number in Oswestry Shropshire. A 90 year old lady in some distress phoned me on this number today to ask why I had been contacting her. She told me she lives in Eastbourne and had been contacted from a number purporting to be from this one asking for finacial information. I explained I had not phoned her but it was probably a phishing scam and suggested she blocked it. I feel I needed to report this scam and this number on her behalf. Scum does not adequately label these people.

This number is a brand new HMRC scam. Be careful. Managed to hold up their phone lines for a few hours today, but they will 100% be making more calls over the coming days and months. Don't be fooled by them.

I was asked to call this number. A man called me on my landline about potential fraud in my bank account and claimed this number was for the Halifax fraud prevention team. The caller asked me to give them my mobile so they could send me a text. When I said no they asked me to ring this number instead.

I have got no idea who this is...I am in the Netherlands and every day I am receiving AT LEAST 5 calls from different UK/London numbers including this one, all from the above location Carter Lane Gardens. I dont answer and when I did try to call one of the numbers back I got a recorded message telling me the number wasnt in use. Getting seriously fed up with it.

This number has called me a couple of times. On both occasions the recorded message states that £700 has been taken from my card for Amazon and £2000 for another transaction. It asks you to press different buttons 1 or 2 to authorise or stop the transactions. On both occasions I hung up and checked my bank account and my amazon account. This is a scam. Be aware.

SCAM It's a scam, they have your email and name from some kind of attack and they say you have cryptocurrency. And if you recall that. I never had. They say the name of the company is blockchain database but that it doesn't have a website. When I said all of this sounded very suspicious (and they even asked me why) the reply I got was 'Damn!" and they hang up.
