Decided to listen and they took me onto both project documents, one was too big for us but the other was just over their £50,000 banding and was local so we asked to price the work. You get robocalls until you pick up from one Bournemouth number, then the next day you get your "local" energy adviser calling you - just got rid at that point so unsure whether a scam, but certainly unsolicited, and since my number is in the TPS database for not getting unsolicited calls, you can bet your life it's a dodgy company not bothered about following the law or regulations.

Call center -operative claimed to be from Virgin Media Technical Services; said he needed me o take my (landline phone) into the room with the computer, then turn it on, so he could do something to my router, to "give me the speed [I] was paying for". I've had at least four calls from these guys (with heavy Asian accents, to the point of not being able to be understood); it is the same script, but the calls have come from a number of different phone numbers in the West Midlands.
