This is a genuine number. I was suspicious and rung Lloyds Fraud line using another number and was told is was bogus because it was not in their list of numbers. However, he contacted the credit card people using another number and came back to me stating it was real. He then put me through and they confirmed my card had been used twice to purchase goods in the USA. They cancelled my card and sent a new one.

Seems to be used for some really wide-scope telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 118328xxxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with very sophisticated robocalls, sometimes classical RTA - ''you have been in a car accident'', sometimes Microsoft support - general computer support, in most cases unsolicited. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new? I really don'
