Called saying you have had a car accident without asking names etc. def a scam..
Rang off when answer-phone cut in. Checked on this site and the area of the number is based in Arbroath. I know no-one in that area so will be blocking the number.
SCAM / SPAM Automated voice claiming to be HMRC saying there is a tax fraud case registered against you.

Nuisance call about some historic car accident.
Received an e-mail asking for a quotation. We then received a payment into our bank asn a further e-mail saying they had overpaid and could they have a refund. Looking at their address: Brenda Lescort Creative Chambers limited 44 Windsor Road Manchester United Kingdom M19 2eb TEL: 01612055645 It seems to be someone with a long history of scamming (do a Google for Brenda Lescort). Be warned!
