No idea how they got my number...It is unregistered PAYG and I have NEVER given it out as it is used just by two close friends to contact me)... thus it s beyond any shadow of a doubt that it s a randomly generated cold-call. Disgusting invasion of privacy by desperate people.

This number just called me, but when I picked up, I heard some noise, and then they hung up (it wasn t a machine, it was definitely someone at the other end). The strange part is that they called me in Romania, on my Romanian number, even though they are obviously located in the UK...
says calling from the tax officer and caller is due a refund of ?3k. in order to get this needs to go to co-op and pay ?100 and then call this number when done. a male called mark anderson will then go to home address and give a cheque over for refund. Scam beware

SCAM the caller said my rooter was infected and would cut off in 4hrs and I would never be able to have a rooter at my address again.I had to take references down and they would be able to work from my laptop to cure the rooter. I asked them who my Rooter company was and wouldn't it be better if I contacted them. She said she was in associate with talk talk, BT, Voda phone and Sky, and any other board band company out there. I said so what is mine? Then she got a bit narky with me. not good
No idea why someone in Macclesfield would call me. Phoned back but got BT answer.
