Scam. I use to work for vodafone, and the first thing i asked after he started talking was " who is your line manager?" "And what system am i on". He freaked out and try come back but not a chance. As for the question providing you managers name should be a problem, unless you are a scammer and it takes you 5-6 seconds to invent a name, secondly vodafone has 2 systems that are being used in the company and it s a very simple to answer this question for a vodafone person. Called on our landline. Recorded message from Bank Security (didn't bother to say which bank). Apparently 2 transactions on my card (which one?!) £300 to Amazon and ..... I gave up at this point as it's obviously a scam. All our banks are based elsewhere so wouldn't phone from a local number and have mobile phones as first contact. Our number is recorded on Telephone Preference service but that doesn't seem to make any difference
