Scam from asian sounding male suposedly working for Virgin Media and claiming that my router was faulty. After getting me to jump through some hoops, told me that I would be getting a new router and £204.56 in compensation. That when I realised it was a scam and they needed my account details which they did not get.
Suggests it s hmrc and fraud has taken place in my name. Press 1. nI didn t press it. Sure hmrc wouldnt use a mobile number for a start etc

H (muffled): " Legal Advice"
Me: "Could you repeat that please"
H (clearer): "Instant Legal Advice. It s about a road traffic accident"
Me: "Have you had one?"
H (it s clearly been a long day): "...oh, go away..."

Fraud called to speak to me about my internet. I hung up and they tried calling again and I didn’t answer. Indian sounding man with call centre noises in background
They call to see if you want to set up a debt plan. even if you refuse they will call you back clearly commision based. depends on the staff member if you get a nice experience or not. block um if you have said no and they call again.
