Just had a call from this number (6.50pm). I get several of these dodgy calls a day - usually early evening, after 4pm - so now I no longer pick up the phone unless I know who is calling. If it is a genuine caller, they ll leave a message and I will call them back. All 0843 numbers appear to belong to scammers/spammers.

SCAM: a woman called pretending to be calling on behalf of a domestic appliances insurance. It's a lie.
Caller disconnected just as I answered which makes me suspect auto-diallers. Thanks to previous comments number now blocked.
