Call came in from this number.... Turned out to be Market Assist Ltd calling from a South African call centre asking about (yawn!) gas and electricity. She walked into the trap when I told her I set my contracts up in the Spring.... and she asked me which were the Spring months.... which any caller from a Birmingham number would have know..... Total waste of time and a nuisance. Falsifying calling numbers should be a crime!

He wanted to talk to the person who deals with electricity bills, so I asked him whether he meant the business or home account. I don t think he understood me, got mildly aggressive, so I repeated myself until he said the business account. Then I said "well our business is a boat, it doesn t use gas or electricity, so unless you can supply me red diesel at a competitive rate there is nothing you can do for me." Hopefully I won t hear from him again.
Received a call from bank security team (doesn't happen) alleging fraudulent card use. Nothing showing in my online banking. FURTHERMORE At no point on the recorded call did the give my banks name. BEWARE
