This caller knew my name (but not my correct surname- so not bonafide) and claimed that they had my information because I had been involved in an accident and they were handling the claim. I have not. And when I told the man this, he changed the tack and claimed that someone else had given me as as a contact for their own claim. Nonsense. No one would have done that, or know to do that (the mobile number is not readily available). Three hours later they rang again and, when I answered, hung up. H

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. SCAM - They called me asking about inline trading. I've not at any point submitted my details in relation to this. As polite I was was questioning where they got my details, they hung up. No answer on call back, though I think its a spoofed number not indicating true origin

Caller rang in the morning from the number 02532 806025. Female, who spoke with an accent from the Indian Sub-Continent. vocal hubbub in the background, so it was from a call centre. She said she was from BT, and that my internet connection had been investigated and found to have been attacked. I told her that was marvellous, and it was the best news I had had in ages. I thanked her for calling to tell me about it, and hung up. Scam. Block it.
