This number rang me and asked for a name that does not live at that number
Phishing, told me to turn my computer on
Automated voice claiming to be from HMRC, and requiring urgent action. In my opinion, if it was genuine they'd write to you, or email, not vague automated phone messages. I think this is a phishing spam call.
SCAM / SPAM Called with a recorded message claiming that they were HMRC and I would be arrested if I didn't press 1. Seems legit ;)
Keep getting calls from the Manchester area starting 0742. Either silent or automated.
I have had repeated calls from this number so I decided to call it back all I got was music! Not even a this is such and such company just music like I was on hold
Got a call from this number turned out to be part of the carphone warhouse dealing with upgrades very helpful and very well priced would definatly recommend
SCAM / SPAM the caller said they were from BT and had found a download fault with my computer and asked for remote access. He said his name was Adam but sounded like he was from a distant foreign country. When I accused him of running a scam he hung up. How rude :-)
