"Microsoft" scam, claims she's from Microsoft and there's a problem with my computer and wants to take over my computer to put it right (she must of thought was born yesterday!) so played along with her for a few minutes before calling her a scammer and that there is nothing wrong with my computer. She obviously wasn't happy but she kept the scam going so I kept winding her up making her more annoyed. I received a call from this number today, it s seemed to be a poor connection or he made out he couldn t hear me. I man with a very strong accent (not English) yet goes by the name of peter asked for me by name when I said yes. He said I m calling from the bank and hung up. I expected they ( whoever they are) wanted me to call the bank at some unknown exaggerated cost to myself.

Said he was calling from MoJ and I was to receive a refund of £3k relating to a loan (unspecified). All I had to do was to get an i-tunes card - apparently so I could pay HMRC the relevant tax, and then call him back on this number. Don't know how
