Text message received saying payment authorised from HSBC account & to click on link if it wasn't me. I don't have an HSBC account so clearly attempted fraud. I don't believe any banks contact their customers by text so my advice is never click on these links.

It is Barclays Partner Finance. Husband's direct debit failed for DFS purchase, he didn't open letter or let me know and I got a phonecall. Give Barclays their due though, my number was given to Barclays Partner Finance but it hasn't been shared across any other Barclays operations.
