Tom calling about loft insulation. He has previously called on another number which we have blocked so have now blocked this one. I believe this is an automated call obviously made to sound like the person is on the other end of the phone.

Claimed they were from United Utilities - Seemed to know where I live and what my name was. Just wanted to know if I owned the commercial property below my building, and that’s as it. A bit suspicious, should’ve asked them why they wanted to know.

They are saying they are from BT, however the following is true (as I worked for BT for 36 years). 1 - BT do not ring you on a mobile number (unless and engineer has an appointment at your house that you know about). 2 - The phone is registered to Vodaphone, BT do not use any other networks for their own use. 3 - He could not give me my BT account number. 4 - He said he was from Millenium City London, this mobile number is located in Manchester! 01733348297 a very foreign gentleman phoned me at 8.25 this morning saying he was from BT Technology. That was after I asked him to repeat it as his English was not very good. I put the phone down.
