Just called me and hung up. Tried to ring back but the number doesn't seem to exist? possible scammer!
When I tried phoning the number back, it said number not recognised?!

SCAM - the guy said he was from a company called MEH. He said there was potentially something wrong with my life insurance cover which could stop me from being paid out. I asked him what life insurance cober and he hung up. Obviously a scammer BEWARE!!!

Pain in the axxxx phone call that hangs up before you answer and does not leave a message. Expect it is an auto call selling something.

Automated call Fraud. Recorded message supposedly from Visa to say credit card has been used at two separate places. Then went on with "press 1 to report", at which time I hung up.

Rang to tell me that they were checking if i had bought an iPhone 14 from Amazon the previous night. Said i needed to cancel the order if i had not made the purchase. I was asked a second time if i had purchased a phone the night before.I replied YES out of interest and asked the caller what they now wanted me to do. The caller abruptly hung up.

"Bank Security" telling me they needed authorisation for two amounts on my credit card. One for £300 from Amazon. (It is amazing how often I seem to "pay" Amazon £300) and one for an overseas number. Another variation on an old scam. Blocked
