SCAM Asian sounding lady called "Lisa Williams" apparently calling about my bt openreach box experiencing problems.I don't have bt, told where to go. This seems to be a pattern of using the surname Williams, I'm expecting Robbie to phone me next as I've had "Charles"on the phone too lol!

Just called with opening that it was "Windows Technical Support" calling about windows computer. Not heard from this scam in a while. I used to go through their instructions sometimes to waste their time, reporting what I saw on my screen - a Linux box NOT Windows. They were trying to pretend the Windows logs were showing that the machine had been compromised. Of course, their instructions don t work on a different system.
