13/07/2017 01393 847 125 called at 16.23. I didn't answer but got the number from dialling 1471. I am also ex-directory and registered with the TPS. I have a recorded message for cold callers on my phone. I keep a list of all unfamiliar numbers who call me and don't seem to have been called by this number or similar before.

Indian sounding person called claiming to be from BT openreach. He asked me to look at router and tell him if all lights on or flashing. He said after recent works in exchange and parts being changed I needed to change my router from 586 to 786 by going online and him talking me through it which i wouldnt do. He said my internet signel was weak and could cut off anytime. I pointed out that when an engineer was fixing my internet the week before i was told i had a very good signel.
