a known scam artists own number fishing for vulnerable folks info

Stated they are calling to carry out a survey. Stated they got my number from one of their partner companies . Gave a list that included o2 amongst about 7 others. Basically fishing for info/interest to see if they can pass your details on to other companies - virgin, british gas, sky etc.

Cold call....I don t answer any number unless they leave a message and I want to call back. Any number that comes through that doesn t leave a message or is unknown to me I just put it in my blocked list and delete it immediately. Don t ever call unknown numbers back if its genuine they will always leave a message

Rings when I answer hangs up.

Silent call abandoned this Monday morning at 1036. Second call already :( Other searches suggest this might be AO.com trying to sell an extended warranty, unsure, but I ve very careful not to give consent for any marketing and am C/TPS registered.

Unsolicited call. I m TPS registered. They said they didnt know that. They also refused to tell me where they got my number - just another annoying lawbreaking firm.

This number rang tried returning call a few times, turned out to be a company for retraining Plumbers etc

It s PetPlan, who are clearly the most unreliable and untrustworthy company to do business with. Aggressive telemarketing, with three to four calls a day. The only sensible thing to do is to block them from coming through.

said his records show id had a Road Traffic Accident within the last three year, which i havent. He said oh right ok and hung up. Still gets calls from this number, thankfully i have blocked the number now.

I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! I am glad to let the world know that when you see this number it is not worth picking up. Just leave it & let it ring! I wonder how much their phone call expenses are? Buy Bt 8500 this phone has true call only numbers in your contact list ring your , phone. Since buying this phone I have had no, Zero rubbish calls. The phone lists the numbers that have tried to get through but if they are not in your contact list your phone won t ring. Brilliant. A well spent £40 or £49 for two handsets. This is not an advert it really works.

Maybe Asian call centre? The number was found by dialling 1471 and the call time and date were accurate Nov.30 @ 11:13a.m..
