I received a call for this number that is saying that im involved in a fraud. they only inform me what fraud I was involved with if they I will tell them my full name and address. I refused to give my details and they said if I refuse they will send a police to arrest me.

This is a scam number from India (pretending to be in Northern Ireland) saying they are BT Openreach and I have a virus on my PC. Just put the phone down BT does not call customers unless you have already raised a fault and all their call centres are in the UK.

Fraud. Automated message claiming that an unauthorised payment of £600 has been sent overseas from my credit card. Press 1 to confirm, press 2 to 'speak to an adviser' (who would no doubt ask for my card details!). Scammer.
Rang today, when I asked why they had called me and how they received my mobile number he just continued with PPI refund speech. Again I explained that I don t have loans or a mortgage so he then began to question me as to if I knew what PPI was as I must have signed up for it. Rude and don t take no for an answer so next time they call I am going to blow a whistle down the ear piece of my phone.

Called & said he is from BT Openreach about my internet, which we do not use, first tried to confirm who I am- when I told him we do not have internet in this house he immediately put the phone down on me!!! SCAM Called to tell me my internet was slow and they would fix it. They tried to send me to a website to fix it but when I asked if I could have a number to call them back to make sure they were legit they hung up. They then called back to ask when was a convenient time to call me and I restated I wanted to call them and they hung up again. The second time the call came from 01483828426.
