Sarcastic and rude male just kept repeating he wanted to give me a quote for car warrenty on my car (mentioned make and model along with car reg!) Wouldn t remove my number when asked. I insisted to be put through to a human being who doesn t have attitude. When I was I told them unless they remove my number, I shall deafen their telecallers with a whistle next time they call, and I hope they suffer for it. SCAM This number called my 86 year old mother today, getting her so traumatised she was shouting & crying which is when I took the phone. The person was insisting Mum has a 3 year fridge/freezer insurance, that she pays yearly & needs to pay final year. My mum doesn’t own a fridge/freezer. In the end I told her to put it in writing & send to me. I’ve got to check mum’ bank in case they’ve ever taken money. There will be legal proceedings.

This number is ao.com. They ring it when you ve placed an order in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact, their sole purpose is to sell you their costly insurance cover for the items you ve bought. No new information re delivery details is provided, they just repeat your order details. These are unsolicited scripted insurance sales calls and as such a form of harassment. They don t leave a message when they ring so that you ring back and incur the cost of the call. Very shoddy behaviour.

Type of call: Attempted Fraud! Lady called Carol with a strong Indian accent pretending to be from Microsoft and trying to gain remote access to my PC. Definitely not Microsoft, definitely not calling from the UK, and definitely a scam.
