Thanks for your listing here. I am in the process of switching away from Scottish Power so, from the comments here, I am supposing they are calling to try to keep me. They don...
This is the fourth time this week calls from 01223 reputed to be Cambridge? saying my bank account has been attacked etc when pressed 2 to talk to the operator a female Asian voice answered....I asked are you in Nagapur India, the line went dead? It's obvious they have a way to get into our phone system. Another one they use is Liverpool 01514.

Claims that I'm involved in some illegal activity and that my National Insurance will be withdrawn and that I will be arrested. Tapped the response number and an Indian sounding person answered. Lots of background noise, call centre maybe, called them out as a scam and they hung up on me!
Constantly calling at least twice a day every day for weeks. I have now blocked this number. There'll be others though no doubt.

My rating is untrustworthy - if trustworthy why not leave a message. If solicitors why cold calling so far away from their offices? Not trustworthy in my book.

TAXES / HMRC Evasion. If you receive a phone call either on landline or mobile from a supposedly 'HMRC', what ever happens, what ever you do, do not press any keys on your keypad as per instructions. This will lead to monies being taken from your account because you've allowed it to happen. Remember that if HMRC wish to contact you at all for what ever reason, they will do it by post and not on the phone. The same applies with banks. Please, people, don't do it.
