I received a text message from them telling me I owed them over £90 and to contact them regarding the issue. After speaking to O2 previously, they informed me that the number did not belong to O2; and because of this, I decided to do a little digging. Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

The only way to get at these people is to go onto the Information Commisioner s website and report the number. If enough of us do this, they will investigate the number. There are very heavy fines for companies who do this. Report them every time you get a call - it is very easy to do.

They are not back on track loans, proper loan company s do not use mobile numbers, this is scam and needs reporting to action fraud, as what he/she is doing is a criminal offence and if it is reported on the national TPS if they call again they are breaking the law, i am so fed up of these types of callers i do not know where they get these numbers of ours but i intend to find out somehow

This number is the personal shopper/account managers number for telephone and online DFS furniture orders, the only time this number will call you is if you have an order with them.

Getting bored of these types of calls. I add them to my mobile phone contacts as PPI Call - Ignore, Marketing Call - Ignore and have accumulated 10 x Marketing Calls and 11 x PPI Calls in the last 12 months. There has to be a way of blocking these people from ringing you. What ever happened to ex directory?
