This number rang out on my phone three times before hanging up on 22/06/2022 .A similar number +94938528005 rang on my wife,s phone on the evening before and also hung up after three rings. It seems a bit suspicious to me.

I received a recorded message from this number, a robotic voice informed me that there were unusual transactions on my bank card and two amounts were mentioned. Then I was asked to press 1 to check the details of the purchase, I did not press any response button, but deleted the message and checked on this facility. It seems to be a scam trying to make contact with my account.
This number when called is unavailable. BLOCK it!

Fraud - Fake "debt collecter" type call. Asking to speak to financial department about an overdue debt that is owed (completely false allegation) but had no names or contact details. When asked if anything had been sent in writing the chap with a "Georide" accent said it could only be dealt with by phone so number blocked and reported.

This is a scam. Told I owed money ($4000) form a credit card I had from 2010 to 2016. Would not give me proof of the debt. I never had a credit card during that time period. Said they are going to try to take $8400 from my bank account by serving papers to the county clerk that is in my county. I spoke to a couple of attorneys which said it sounds like a scam. We are a small charity and the person dealing with HR not in & I explained I wasn't willing to pass details on unless they told me what their company actually wanted/did still just mumbled his own name & insisted he'd ring back. Call centre noise in background.
There was a recorded announcement of two misuses of my credit card (one of them Tesco). No mention of who was calling. A recorded announcement asked me to "press 2 and hold" to speak to customer service. A male voice with a strong foreign accent then asked me for my personal details. When asked what bank he was from the phone went dead.

Called from Citizens advice group. I questioned the male caller with a south Asian accent in some detail. He was very helpful. They were calling about debts and he asked what debts we had. I asked him where they got our number and he replied FCA ????????????. I then asked him for the person or department name as I have previously worked with FCA in the past, he didn’t give it to me. He was very polite and said he couldn’t continue. He also said they weren’t authorised in the UK!

Said was from EE PROMOTIONAL team. Hung up as EE CALL from their contact centres and appear as an 03 number and not a domestic landline number. Caller was indian from their accent and dialect. Likely using a voip set up . Do not give details and hang up.

SCAM I got an automated female voice stating it was bank security. £300 was to pay Amazon and £1100 was by bank transfer. I got the exact same phonecall yesterday from another number. I was to press 1 to speak to someone if I hadn't made these transactions. I have been told by my bank that if anything like this was to happen the bank would notify me with the bank's name and a the name of whoever I was talking to as soon as I answered the phone. They would never phone with an automated message.
