SCAM. The caller said she was calling from MalwareBytes and asked how we are 'looking after our Internet security'. Very heavy Indian accent and when I suggested I was not interested - after several attempts, she just hang up. Not the behaviour of a professional sales rep. The offered the usual 'tech support'!

SCAM - Male - Indian, asked for me by name, advised recent bank payment had been overpaid & I could get money refunded. He then gave my correct address & asked me to confirm this was correct. Told him this was excitinging news - I have someone with me at the moment, give me your number & I ll call you back. He hung up immediately. Do not ring your bank/credit card company immediately, it may reconnect you back to the caller who will then ask you to confirm your personal details - very dangerous. Instead

Called me today , I answered but no one on other end and they hung up. I am registered with telephone preferences so they are breaking the law by calling me! Highly recommend anyone to register to stop unwanted calls - before I did this I was receiving at least 1 call a day from unwanted numbers. This is the second call I ve had in months since registering!
