They ve called our TPS registered number several times but the line is dead when I answer.
Scouse woman got stroppy when I kept saying "Yes" to each question and told me they would keep calling back. Good good good you silly daft cow you are calling me on a phone set aside for this very purpose. The only way to stop these calls is to keep a personal attack alarm by the phone. I was plagued by these calls on my real mobile phone but the calls dried up soon enough. Then I started missing the calls so I set up another phone purely for cold call baiting. They called and hung up. I didn't call back as there's a scam now where if you call back certain numbers it shows up on your bill as you've called them back and it's listed as anything from 1 to 12 hours. This bill is about 300 quid so if it's genuine they can leave a message as far as I'm concerned

Immediate update - I got an almost immediate reply to my emails and they say that although this is a one-off £10 charge for a 12-month reminder service for which they make it clear there is a charge (hmmmm) they will process an immediate refund via the Post Office. So easy that one can only infer that they receive many, many requests per day for refunds from people such as me who are totally unaware that they had signed up. Result! I emailed [email protected]
