Text Message - "New SIM card Can you confirm who you are" I'll not be replying to this as I don't know who it's from or why. Guessing it's phishing.

"David", in his very difficult-to-understand accent, said he was calling from '3' about upgrading my phone. Do I have an iPhone or a Samsung? I don't even have a contract with 3, so this has got to be some sort of scam. I rang off.

silent then hung up. Usually what happens is I get some silent calls before the influx of thick Indian accents asking about my phone in the proceeding days. aka fishing for operational phone numbers via an automated dialer.
Anyone something about this number? I did get call yesterday from this number in changed voice and talking nonsense.
