Fake "Excellent Life" opinion poll, asking personal questions that can be used to target you in future. I have had many calls with this excuse, all displaying different fake UK caller numbers.
Dunno why these people are calling me I have never had any contact with them before
SCAM Pretending to be BT tech department and wanted me to give him access to my 'devices' as there were many intruders using my internet IP address and he could prove it if I gave him some personal details.
23 Nov 2021 - Silence at first, then a click and background call centre noise. An Asian person then said "Hello Maam, it's "Jacks from Carphone Warehouse. How are you today?" I said I wasn't interested and put the phone down, as I haven't had any dealings with Carphone Warehouse. I also suspect this isn't really Carphone Warehouse!Reply

Instead of usual 1 year direct debit if i go for 2 years up front I will get 1 year free lol. he actualy said was from domestic and general. This is a company based in Mumbai trading as Web to Wealth. Using all sorts of numbers. if you block any they call from, they just come up with a new one. here s how they get your details. they have registered with the whois who directory for web domains and every time someone buys a domain but does not buy privacy from whois who, they capture it and ring you like crazy, as if there is no tomorrow. Be careful don t disclose bank / credit account details. this is how they get your money even if you don t go

Trying to send information about funeral plans, this happens a day after my Dad passed away. That call I feel was inappropriate, I know it is something that is going to happen to us all at some point but to cold call is wrong. Thank goodness I answered the call and not my Mum!

I called back the number after abvout the 10th missed call. They are a company called MJE who want me to make a claim for missold PPI due to a loan or credit card. I didn t take PPI so told them they were wrong. Asked how they got my number, they get their phone list from a company called DLG Marketing.
