lots of calls from Crime Prevention company they will just not give up even trying to con a colleague into saying yes when I have already told them no!!! Had similar experience previously by a different name and they actually only ever printed 12 copies of their newspaper which we had been asked to advertise in! This is how they can seem legal. I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. They applied just enough pressure when the texts to change my account detail came in that I didn't have time to read them properly. Thankfully, I read them after the call an

SPAM Caller asked if I was over 50, used a cane or walking aid, said I was eligible for medical alert. Started giving me blurb about how many people of my age going into care home etc. Asked why he was contacting me. Said his boss gives him a list of people over 50 with medical conditions. He hung up when I asked what medical condition that would be. Might be wrong but sounded like a scammer looking to target for elderly people with health problems. Grateful it wasn't my elderly mother that he called.
