SCAM claimed to be from UK DWP saying my National Insurance Number was being suspended and to press #1 on keypadto speak fo "advisor". I knew this was a scam as my ex parrner works for DWP that deals with such matters and this isn't how they operate. Pressed 1 and spoke to some numpty in what I think was Dehli. I told him he was a scammer and he got abusive telling me to F*** Off!

Rang us at 11.15pm and again between 1 and 2am last night. registered with TPS but they can t stop it and BT can t help unless we pay for a blocker and different phones. Started as a silent call but picked up by "Danielle" with a Scottish accent. Offered to advise on how to reduce energy costs. Rang off when I started to ask questions about who they were. When I called the number back a recording said it was changed to 118196, a directory inquiries service run by Vox Clarity. Clearly a telemarketer after selling insulation etc

SCAM - Calling informing me i'd had an accident
He wanted to talk to the person who deals with electricity bills, so I asked him whether he meant the business or home account. I don t think he understood me, got mildly aggressive, so I repeated myself until he said the business account. Then I said "well our business is a boat, it doesn t use gas or electricity, so unless you can supply me red diesel at a competitive rate there is nothing you can do for me." Hopefully I won t hear from him again.
