This is British Gas I just had boiler serviced. I have answered the call but they keep calling, they call to try to con you into having a new boiler installed. It now needs answering again to let them know you are just going through the channels to report them and they can get fined. They soon draw in their horns , we did do this 2 years ago after having the same problem. We got compensation and out data was wiped at the time from their computers. A scam call from “ Inside Revenue” trying to glean tax information. The foreign sounding man said he could help with claiming the marriage allowance! I told him that as I worked for HMRC anyone who claims the marriage allowance simply has to tick a box on their tax return and there is no need for any interference from a company calling themselves “Inside Revenue”. My advice is give no information and block the number.
