Was a chap from Phone Spot trying to sell me a new phone.
Automated call from “my internet service provider” stating that illegal activity has been detected on my account and my service would be disconnected within 24-48 hours….Then gave me a load of options…press 1, press 2…etc presumably to get me to speak to someone so that they could access money in some form or other. SCAM - told me someone had purchased an IPHONE 7 on my Amazon account, it was for £300 odd pounds, did I want help recovering the money or want the phone delivered. Lady with a very heavy Indian accent, didn't say if she was calling from Amazon or the Bank, but she could help stop the delivery and get my money back if I followed these steps. Call terminated.

ppi, ring ten times a day, normally there is no one at the end of the line but finally spoke to someone as soon as they said ppi I hung up and blocked
Claimed to be from a life cover company. Had a name and a postal code. Was expecting someone else to answer the phone. Eventually when the finaly realised it was not the person they were asking for, They hung up.

Scam! Foreign lady said she was from D&G and to renew washing machine cover at special price. She confirmed she was D&G twice but on checking later with the correct firm she was lying! D&G has been informed.
Read a script, trying to flog a holiday which adults pay a tenner each kids go free. A charming lady, annoying manner, no pause for breath, apparently I have won this.......but it is not free. Goodbye.

Claimed to be from carphone warehouse, as soon as I went to speak they hung up. A quick google shows the number is linked to an unrelated government contract which is concerning. I suspect they were phoning only to see if I would answer.
Answered once and its about PPI. Told them I was not interested and he slammed the phone down. Then I got 12 calls from them in 3 days. If I answer again I just don t say anything and see how long it takes them to put the phone down.
