This is a scam from the HRMC I suspect. Called saying that tax fraud has been raised under my name and to press 1. Very bad line, sounded like they were located in India. Became irate and unprofessional when I refused to give name.
I am being charged for calling this number three times from my landline but I do not recognise it, I would like to know who this is before reporting it as fraud.

Received many calls from same number but just the last digit changes. It is an automated message saying that they are HMRC and that a tax fraud claim is made against me, that I should press 1 and talk to a representative otherwise I will be arrested shortly. It is so annoying as to how they get my number, i have had so many unsolicitored calls recently. Who is selling my information, I am so carefull in completing any online applications with my sensitive details?

Fraud HMRC tax fraud scam, they will tell you there is a warrant out for your arrest unless you pay £495.50 over the phone straight away, if you dont pay they threaten to have you arrested for non payment of taxes, when you say you dont owe any tax, they then say its for unpaid council tax do not engage with them, hang up phone straight away.

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. I had a call on 1/30/2023 from 44+ 0141 628 5948 and the phone number I was a scam they was trying to see what company I was with on my sim card and they was trying to get my bank details because they said my iPhone been hacked and I need a new one and they wanted my bank details.
