People claiming to be from EDF and seemed to know a lot about me which made me think it was genuine. Luckily I got suspicious when they started throwing deals at me and I hung up.
Call originated from Aberdeen but is from overseas, bad accent, told to pizz off and remove my number from database.
The number is Ideal World shopping. I placed an order and they called to sell me more. While not a wanted call its not a scam.

If this is as others say ..Everest. that company went bust in 2019 and is now called everest 2020. They still owe or Chapel more than 4k deposit back. I have had this number blocked since last year because it kept ringing and there was nothing there . It just came up again as a blocked call today.. and yesterday. It was not ghe number I had as a contact for Everest or Everest 2020.

Received a text message from this number allegedly about a delivery by EVRI - as I am expecting a delivery (from DHL) I precipitately clicked on the link which read; EVRI(UK10094786). Out of curiosity I navigated to the EVRI website and entered a combination of the above and the full set. EVRI did not recognize it any of it. This is a scam number with an automated voice concerning an order from Amazon. I do not have an Amazon account. This call is likely from a scamming call centre in India. Not the first time I've been targeted, each time from a different number. I put the phone down. Recommended: programmes by Rav Wilding on BBC iPlayer and repeated on BBC1. His team have viewed such scams. The scammers get into your phone.

I asked for a house price quote via Zoopla and this William H Brown number called me. This company was one of the three from which I requested a quote, so no issue with that. Problem is I live overseas, which is why I stated I wanted to be contacted by email. Even WhatsApp would do. But that's the way they operate. They like to be in your face.
