It was a Northumbria Water call alert about a leak in the area. A visit to the website confirmed that there was a local problem. (Why can't these companies publish the numbers they use to make calls?)

Missed call I didn't pick up. Map here shows somewhere near Waverley Station (edinburgh) but no idea who that would be.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. I receive this call every day at 11.40am.It rings five times.I once answered it to find nobody there.

Repeatedly receiving silent calls from this number, despite being ex-directory and on the TPS.

Nuisance annoying

This number calls a LOT especially as I have asked twice to be removed from their database. Excel services wanting to service a dyson we do not have. Just had a call today, VERY rude girl. I told her we had already asked to be taken off the database, we don t have a dyson. She said that s why she s got us down as non-dyson. So they can make a note of that bit but not the fact that we re not interested?! I ended up hanging up, she was just so unpleasant.

This number rang three times today and a missed call from previous. No message left on missed call and when I answered the others there was a noise in the background like an office and then cut off.
