Automated call saying someone has tried for authority of a £900 transaction on your card. If this wasn’t you press 1 to stop it. Hung up and blocked and reported.

They yust phoned up but never left a message. Thats why i always have the answer phone on if they can't talk to you they can't sell you anything. That keeps the conmen at bay.

Caller with an Asian accent said he was from o2 and I had been selected to have a 50% discount on my tariff. I have has these calls before and seemed to be an obvious scam, so I briefly went along… The caller said I would receive an email from o2 but first I would have to pass security and he would send me 2 links with questions. Repeated phone calls, (within working hours). This business sells magazine deals/subscriptions - but if you buy once they don't stop phoning (unless you firmly say/threaten them a few times that you'll report them). They're not the worst by any means.

Number came up as spam on my mobile phone so I didn't actually answer any of the 3 calls I have had so far today and this is the first time I have been called by it. Indications on other sites are that this is Opus credit (aka New Day) and it makes sense since I have an account with them and I missed a payment with them yesterday.

It seemed that the caller at the other end of the telephone may have been AI rather than an actual person as 'he' didn't actually comment on what I had answered but just went onto the next question. I therefore asked if it was a real person or AI and if it was AI, then I wasn't interested, and hung up.

Indian accent claiming to be EE running a promotion. He ask for some pretty personal information. Name, address etc things EE should already have on file. Did not know the branch he was working from and was pretty adamant to get card info to enroll for the so called promotion but I had already picked up that it was a scam so no information was provided.
Just silence at the other end, hopefully this is a sign that a scammer or marketeer has just had their tongue glued to their eyeball.
