This is a naughty one. Someone is using the Motor Insurance Bureau s number to hide their identity. The MIB is the body that coordinates motor vehicle claims in the U.K. If you have not had a vehicle accident don t answer it, or at least ring back later, if you want to.

Untrustworthy scale - 10! Computer scam! Have been called at least five times in as many days. Different person each time (one time a woman, the rest were men). Some VERY aggressive. Have told them in no uncertain terms (!) that I know it is a scam and that they are NOT calling from Microsoft and requested they never call my number again. SCAM / SPAM FAKE HMRC CALL - do not answer or follow instructions they are after your money. I know this as I work for HMRC and received this call.
Well, they phoned earlier and a recorded message informed me, that it was my banks security department, which it obviously wasn't, the number trace showed a call the Russian Federation, RED FLAG. She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!
