Rest easy, it seems to be the cavity wall insulation scam, according to the majority of reports on other sites.
Wanted to give me a discount as I was a loyal customer. Then tried to get my bank details and debit card number to check that I was the correct customer. When I put the phone down a supervisor called me back and asked the same questions, when I said that they should know I didn t pay my bills by debit card and that I thought the call was a scam he cut the call.

Telemarketing- seemed to know all my details (address and full name). I expressed i could not take the phone call as i was working but they pushed me to take the call. They are working with or on behalf of O2. They are trying to get people who have just applied for a pay and go sim to upgrade to a contract sim. It s a bloody pain in the backside the amount of times they call. You would think that after ringing someone 2 or 3 times without the phone being answered they would give up but No. I answer and make them wait on the line lol
