Our company has an account with Extra Energy already and when I gave our account number to them they just claimed it wasn t valid and continued with their aggressive sales pitch. I asked them to remove our number and hung up. Have added this Number to my black list on my phone a few months ago. I can always see when they have called in the logs. The calls stopped but started again, in conjunction with spam texts about a car accident claim (Not a valid one). Ignore. They are scammers. Not worth the time. Received a call from this number 2/11/15 claiming they were calling from a building control organisation. When I asked to clarify who they were etc. the call was ended. Typical behaviour of a scam company.
POSING AS TSB - this number is NOT from TSB. I set up a new payment so this number rang me straight after - which you would expect to be TSB. But my phone recognised it as a VIETNAM number. I did not answer when I saw this, and then TSBs correct number rang me and set up my new payment. I don’t know how this works but for a vulnerable person / not very switched on person they would have been scammed.
