I received a recorded message telling me that an attempt had been made to use my credit card for the sum of £900 and that if it wasn’t me I was to press option 1 (there were no other options) when I called the number back I was told by recorded message that the phone was switched off.

Fraud - Incoming call from a foreign call centre. Person on the phone not very bright. When challenged with questions such as “what bank is calling me?” The person was unable to answer and ultimately terminated the call. I knew it was a scam, but just like to waste their time as much as they waste mine.

Automated call ... Fraud 07477162171 - a badly recorded auto-voice informed me that the content of a form I've submitted to HMRC required investigation, and I should "Press 1" to speak to their team. So I hung up.

call from this number claiming to be Bank Security saying there had been two transactions on my account. One for £700 for Amazon and the other for £2k on an international money transfer. Absolute scam. Probably not the real number.

Claimed to be from Virgin Media and wanted me to switch my laptop on and she would talk me through resetting my router. When I questioned her she dropped the call!

SCAM - the guy said he was from a company called MEH. He said there was potentially something wrong with my life insurance cover which could stop me from being paid out. I asked him what life insurance cober and he hung up. Obviously a scammer BEWARE!!!

Recorded message telling me my Amazon subscription had gone out of date and they had taken £90 from my account. First time I knew that Amazon had offices so close to my home. Nearest one is Preston

SCAM. This is a scam. The caller claims to be identifying tenants of problem landlords who are not maintaining the property. They will take enforcement action against the landlord and recover their costs from the landlord. Sales call ….from three, offering 40% discount on current contract. They didn’t even know my name and I’ve been with them for 20 years….jokes, but they did say they can confirm if I give them my email address….I don’t think so pal, they must of thought I was born yesterday, and I clearly stated to them I think your lying and prove yourself. Of course they couldn’t answer. Don’t trust ii, it’s a scam if I ever saw one.

Cold caller claiming to be wanting to do a "young persons disability survey". Probably computer generated dialling since I am ex-directory and they had no idea as to the age generation they were talking to.
