I don't know think its safe I got a virus in my phone for a while and aI thought my Fb might be hacked ! I just went into my settings no where my WhatsApp was ,my own number was there . But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . I thought I deleted FB and re installed and no we I installed the installed the latest soft ware Amazon is not recognizing me .I have to re log in everywhere . It's a right pain. this was a recorded message purporting to be from HMRC. It stated that a letter had been returned to them and they were going to commence legal action. It asked me to press 1 to speak to an advisor. I hung up!

Fraud Had text claiming to be be from Starling Bank - text came through on same message thread as previous verification code so I thought it was genuine. Text advised suspicious activity in my account for which they would be contacting by phone (which they did the next day) They already had lots of my identifying info and put me through other checks. They’d cleared thousands out of my account by the time I’d called Starling bank a few hours later.

Automated message left telling me there was a £300 and £1000 charge on my card. (No mention of which card). This was incorrect and therefore message is most likely a scam.
SCAM!!! We had a ‘New Customer’ approach us and ask for a quote so we sent over a New Customer form to make sure we could offer a credit facility. They filled in the details of a reputable company so passed the credit check. However, when it came to payment due date, the phone number they provided no longer works and emails are coming back with an automatic reply each time from various different email addresses. I have searched each of these email addresses and they show up on a few scam websites.
I answered without speaking, there was no sound from the caller and then the call ended. Suspect it's a scam.
