SPAM claims to be from Currys PC World about an iphone deal. I asked woman where she was based and she repeated name of "company". She then gave a place name in the midlands, I said that my phone said Bodmin (in Cornwall). She hung up.

Claims to be my local energy advisor SPAM I was transferred to a man with an Indian accent on a very poor quality line who knew my old postcode. Why would my local energy advisor be making calls from India?
Had 3 calls so far today, 1 in morning 2 afternoon, all hang up after I pick up, regardless of wait time. No one knows my landline either, so don’t know how it’s being called unless it’s malicious. Other numbers that called to same extent were 01330 560922 and 01689 814765, both equally as perplexing.

recorded message saying my VISA had been used fraudulently with a payment of £400 to Amazon and £700 to Wester Union and as I had never used Western Union it was suspicious and to press one to talk to someone. Definitely a scam. DO NOT PRESS ONE!! put the phone down and call your bank if you're worried.

SCAM robo call saying that there has been possible fraudulent activity on my bank account. When I questioned them they refused to say what bank they were, and that they were the 'fraud department'. This number called twice today. The man claims to be from a mobile phone company that works with my operator. Offers better deals. and need my details, and my contract details and when I asked why he's not taking data from the screen he admitted that my details are not there and he is calling with a completely different company. Clearly scammers and it's better not to talk to this number.

Call was at 6.41am. I rang back - not sure if that was wise - there was a mumbled (male) response, something about 'delivery' was all I could make out even though I asked which company. Told them they'd called a wrong number and hung up, feeling uneasy.
